Non-resonant type with a voltage boosting function due to the inductive component of the load.AC-ACconverter
[Details of award-winning research]
Induction heating technology is a clean heat source that does not generate greenhouse gases during heating, and is used in household induction cooktops.IHIt is also applied to cooking heaters. In this case, heating is performed by utilizing the resonance phenomenon between the heating coil and a separately inserted capacitor for high-efficiency heating. However, the separately inserted capacitor leads to an increase in cost.
This research proposes a circuit configuration and control method for non-resonant induction heating that does not utilize resonance phenomena. Simplification of the circuit configuration is also achieved by focusing on AC direct conversion technology. The presentation will qualitatively explain the operating principle and demonstrate the validity of the proposed control law.1 kWThis was confirmed using the experimental apparatus.
