　On May 26, 2026, a ceremony was held to present the Konju Medal to Ms. Ie Otsu, wife of the late Professor Emeritus Kohei Otsu (former Tokyo University of Mercantile Marine).
　President Iseki presented Ms. Ie Otsu with a commendation and a decorative plaque, praising her for her achievements.
