Purpose of the fund

　At Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, we have established various study abroad programs and send students overseas in order to develop students with both specialized knowledge of the ocean and a global mindset.
　The Global Education Fund is a fund that aims to support students who participate in study abroad programs and gain various learning and experiences abroad.By utilizing this fund, more students will be able to take on the challenge of studying abroad without financial worries, and it will also be possible to enhance the content of study abroad programs.
　We would like to ask for your support as a support for students who are flying abroad.

• OQEANOUS Plus(Oceanus Plus) Program　
  This is a study abroad program adopted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 3.Inheriting the know-how of the former OQEANOUS program, we have established a credit transfer system with quality assurance with partner universities in China, South Korea and ASEAN, and a double degree system (both at our university and at the host university). We promote mutual study abroad through various programs ranging from short-term to one-year programs.

• METIS Program
  This study abroad program, selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Project to Strengthen the Global Competitiveness of Universities" in fiscal year 2024, aims to cultivate highly skilled engineers who can take the lead in solving global challenges related to the ocean. Targeting undergraduate students from their fourth year through to graduate students, the program includes online joint classes, credit-transfer study abroad programs, and internships with partner universities in Denmark and Norway.

• Overseas expedition program
