School of Marine Resources and Environment

In Japan, which is surrounded by the sea, it is important to create new industrial fields while making good use of sea resources. On the other hand, it is necessary to promote the use of the ocean while preserving the marine environment.
This faculty consists of two departments. While making use of the university's strengths and characteristics, it engages in education and research on new ocean use, and has specialized knowledge on the conservation of the marine environment and the use of resources and energy. We aim to develop human resources who will lead the use of the oceans in our country.
