Study Support Fund

　The Tuition Support Program is a scholarship program that provides support for part of the tuition fees to students who are unable to pay tuition fees due to financial reasons and who are recognized as academically outstanding. In the 7 academic year, we were able to provide support to 6 students as part of the tuition support program.

Development of an educational and research environment

　In fiscal year 2025, we established the "Takayuki Oyama Research Encouragement Fund" and implemented the "Oyama Research Encouragement Project," which encourages research projects that will shape the future of the ocean 20 to 30 years from now, and the "Oyama Prize Project," which encourages young researchers who will shape the future of the ocean 20 to 30 years from now. In fiscal year 2025, we selected one research project and allocated research funds under the "Oyama Research Encouragement Project," and selected and awarded two young researchers under the "Oyama Prize Project."

Collection and management of academic materials, etc.

• In fiscal year 7, Mr. Nobutaka Higuchi, President and CEO of Schooner Co., Ltd., continued to donate books, primarily designated textbooks for classes and books requested by students, through the "Kyoto Bank SDGs Private Placement Bond 'A Cheer for the Future' - For the Children Who Will Lead the Next Generation."
