Fishing College is a public lecture that provides learning about the waterside environment while having a connection with fish.
In this lecture, there are many stories from the viewpoint of "fishing" and "eating", but there are also ways of associating with fish from the viewpoint of "keeping" and "appreciating."
Aquarium is a representative facility for this, and there are fish that can be kept with very simple tank facilities at home. It is a goldfish, which has been popular among common people since the Edo Period. Surprisingly, their ancestors are crucian carps. As the leading Japanese experts of goldfish, Mr. Nobuaki Okamoto and Mr. Yonosuke Kawada will talk about the roots of how goldfish was born from crucian carp and their attractions with joy and passion, and invite you to the world of fish studies. Of course, they will also introduce how to enjoy keeping goldfish in a bowl without buying a tank.
