Students from Countries of Pacific Islands visited TUMSAT under the JENESYS2017 (2017/12/6)

On December 6, 2017, 23 students from Republic of Kiribati, Republic of Nauru, Republic of Vanuatu, Republic of Fiji, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia visited Shinagawa Campus under the JENESYS Program, the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths, which is an international exchange program by the Japanese Government.

Prof. Shuichi Satoh, Dean of School of Marine Life Science, gave a brief presentation about TUMSAT and Prof. Katsuyuki Hamasaki (Department of Marine Biosciences) gave lecture about "Coconut Crab". After the lectures, the visiting students presented dance performances, and enjoyed interaction with four Japanese students of TUMSAT over lunch.
