Dean of College of Fisheries Science, Pukyong National University, Korea, visited TUMSAT with its alumni members (2018/10/19)

On October 19, 2018, Dr. KIM Hyung-Seok, Dean, College of Fisheries and Ocean Science, Pukyong National University visited TUMSAT with about 40 members of its overseas alumni association. The meeting of their overseas alumni has been held in foreign countries every year, and it was held in Tokyo, Japan for the first time this year. As many of their members are doing business in the field of fisheries, they visited TUMSAT. Also, Dr. KIM Hyung-Seok is a graduate of TUMSAT.

On the TUMSAT side, President, Dr. Toshio Takeuchi, gave welcome remarks, and Dr. Tadashi Tokai, Vice-President and Executive Director for International, gave a presentation on an outline of TUMSAT. In addition, Dr. Hideo Tabata, President of Rakusui-kai, one of the alumni associations of TUMSAT, gave remarks, and Mr. Takashi Matsuno, Director-General of Rakusui-kai, lectured on an outline of Rakusui-kai.

After the meeting, they visited the Museum of Marine Science where Dr. Hiroshi Inada, Associate Professor, Department of Marine Biosciences, lectured on the exhibits.
