[Important] About submission of application to continue receiving student loans provided by JASSO

The following notice refers to the application (on line) for continuing scholarship loan program offered by the Japan Student Services Organization:

Application materials (packaged in envelopes addressed to individual applicants) will be available at a student service office on each campus. Those of you who are eligible for the support program as described below are kindly requested to obtain the relevant documents by presenting a student ID at your earliest convenience.

You can make an application only on line. Please read handouts carefully regarding the application instructions and make sure to complete the application on line no within the specified period.

You must be very careful that if you do not make an application, you will lose your aid eligibility automatically.

1. Eligible Applicant Profile

Those students receiving scholarship loans as of October 2016 (excluding senior year students).

2.Application Package (in an envelope addressed to the individual applicant)

  • A notice regarding the scholarship loan amount
  • Instructions for making an on-line application for the continuing scholarship
  • Pre-entry materials for the continuing scholarship

3.Submission Deadline (for on-line applications)

Thursday, December 15, 2016 through Friday, February 3, 2017 8:00-25:00

Please note that no applications will be accepted on line during the period from Thursday, December 29 through Tuesday, January 3

On-line applications will be accepted on the Scholar Net Personal, a web-based application system operated by JASSO. Pre-registration will be required to use the system.

4.Materials will be available at the following offices:

  • Student Scholarship Services on the Shinagawa Campus
  • Student Services, Administration Office, Etchujima District on the Etchujima Campus

Kindly advised to visit the offices for the materials at your earliest convenience
