Study meeting for White Paper on Fisheries

Last Update : 2017-01-06 11:47

Preparatory measures for civil service examinations (for duties or researches on fisheries undertaken by central and local government officials and research assignments at educational institutions or regional independent fishery research institutions)

Many questions created based on the details of white papers on fisheries will be asked in the first round (multiple-choice questions) of civil service examinations (for duties on fisheries). In addition, if you read white papers on fisheries, you will have a good understanding of the current status and challenges of fisheries in our country. Group reading of white papers on fisheries, which will include explanations by persons who have created questions for examinations, will be held five times during the period from February to April 2017.

*Those who wish to participate in the program are requested to make registration for the job hunting support system. If you have any questions, please contact the job hunting support office.

Venue: Class room No. 13, Building No.1 of the Shinagawa Campus (plan)

No fees for participation. However, when you make application and when the test is over, you are requested to fill in your name and a duty that you wish to undertake.

Participants are requested to obtain a FY2015 white paper on fisheries ("FY2015 Trends in Fisheries" and "FY2016 Fishery Policy"" in the FY2015 version) on their own, and look through designated pages every time before attending the reading.

White papers on fisheries can be downloaded from the website of the Fisheries Agency (http://www.jfa.maff.go.jp/j/kikaku/wpaper/index.html). Please obtain copies of the "Sustainable Development of the Aquaculture Industry" featured in the FY2013 version and "Sustainable Use of Fishery Resources in the Waters surrounding Japan" featured in the FY2014 version. A rough explanation will be given on preparatory measures for examinations at the beginning of the first reading.
