● Please be sure to contact a prospective supervisor before applying and get approval for the examination.
At a Later, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology makes the confirmation of approval to the supervisors.

● For the entrance examinations to be conducted in 2023, the validity period of external English test scores will be as follows.
-> A certificate (score sheet) taken within the past two years from the last day of the application acceptance period are valid.
In addition, of the TOEIC test score sheets, submission of IP test (online) score sheets will not be accepted.

- How to Apply
1. Master's Course and Doctoral Course（Except for Admission for only those who plan to proceed to the Doctoral Course after completing the Master's Course at the TUMSAT）applicants
The examination fee can be paid by credit card, online banking, ATM (Pay-easy), convenience store, etc. However, ATM (Pay-easy) and convenience stores can only be paid within Japan. After paying the examination fee, you can print the application form from the Internet application system. After registering the application via the Internet, you will pay the examination fee and submit the application documents to the TUMSAT by the application deadline to complete the application.
2. Doctoral Course applicants（Admission for only those who plan to proceed to the Doctoral Course after completing the Master's Course at the TUMSAT）
You do not have to pay the examination fee. Instead, a password for exemption from the examination fee is required at the time of application registration, so please email the Admissions Section II of the Admissions Division (Friday, June 9, 2023) before the application period, for a password, at (n-nyusi2@o.kaiyodai.ac.jp). Please include your student ID number, name, and course applied for the email.
- Application documents
Application documents include "Documents that need to be ordered from various institutions" (Official Academic transcript, Official Certificate of [Expected]Graduation, etc.) and "Documents downloaded from the TUMSAT website (Download the prescribed format)" (Statement of Purpose, etc.).
Also, some of the application documents will be uploaded at the time of application registration, so please convert application documents that need to be uploaded into PDF files separately for each document.
All applicants except for Admission for only those who plan to proceed to the Doctoral Course after completing the Master's Course at the TUMSAT will submit all paper-based application documents, including uploaded documents, to complete the application. It may take some time to prepare, so start preparing early.
For the "PROCESS1 Advance preparation (5) Download the prescribed format " published in the Admission Information and Application, please use the following "Download the prescribed format". The application documents will differ depending on the course and classification, so please check the Admission Information and Application for the course and classification you are interested in.
- Eligibility Screening for Admission
Those who wish to apply for Eligibility Screening for Admission will undergo preliminary screening by screening documents, so please be sure to consult the Admissions Section II of the Admissions Division (n-nyusi2@o.kaiyodai.ac.jp) before submitting the documents. Then, after downloading and creating the following prescribed format, along with other documents described in "3. Eligibility Screening for Admission" in the Admission Information and Application, please submit it to the Admissions Section II of the Admissions Division by May 31, 2023 (Wednesday).

* Download the prescribed form, prepare the contents of the forms, and convert them to PDF files. （Please convert PDF files separately for each document.）
* It is not necessary to convert the Application Form to PDF as they are automatically created when you register for an Internet application. For reference, please have a look and consider the contents.

2. Application for Prejudgment or Eligibility
*When printing each document, please print all pages in A4 size.
*If you want to print smaller than the size of the paper, set the magnification to 100% in the print settings, or set "Fit to page size" and print on the A4 paper.
