1. Overview
   The Technical University of Denmark hosted a summer school on remote sensing for wind energy every year, and in 2026, it will also be hosted by Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) in Tokyo, Japan. The three-day course will include lectures on offshore wind power, a topic that is currently undergoing rapid development in Japan, and some will be given by Japanese lecturers. A wide range of participants are welcome for the summer school, including not only graduate school master's and doctoral students, but also general engineers involved in offshore wind power. We hope you will take this opportunity to not only acquire knowledge on meteorology and remote sensing for offshore wind power generation, but also to build research networks between Denmark and Japan and among participants.
   
   
2. Organizer
   This event is organized as part of the KazeVind project, in a joint collaboration between Technical University of Denmark, Kobe University, Ashikaga University, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Kindai University, and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.

7. Poster session by Participants
   To encourage networking among participants and lecturers, a poster session is scheduled for the evening of Day 1. We invite all participants to present their research or current projects using a poster roughly A1 size. Please note that we do not provide printing services; you are kindly requested to print your poster in advance and bring it with you to the venue.
   
   
8. Participation fee
   General registration fee: 30,000 JPY, Students: Free.
   Catering fee including lunch and the dinner on the second day are free.
   Payment details will be provided via email after registration.We accept credit cards and PayPal.

   Period: May 11 (Mon) - August 31 (Mon), 2026
   Limit: Approximately 30 people. Applications will be closed as soon as we reach capacity, regardless of the original deadline.
